About us...

Wood Flower’s combination of tight harmonies, driving banjo, soulful mandolin, ripping twin guitars all supported by a solid bass line are highlights that define this up-and-coming Bluegrass band. Their unique yet traditional approach to Bluegrass music was formed in the spring of 2022 between a music teacher and his former guitar student from ten years prior who had recently graduated from Berklee College of Music. A Wood Flower performance mixes original songs with Bluegrass classics and an occasional outside the box cover tune.

Only two weeks after Wood Flower’s first public performance they were honored to open for The Seldom Scene, and have since shared the stage with such greats as Ricky Skaggs and Kentucky Thunder, Wyatt Ellis and East Nash Grass.

They have entertained music fans at variety of festivals including Wind Gap Bluegrass Festival, Podunk Bluegrass Festival, Musikfest, Appalachian Fiddle & Bluegrass Association Festival, Basin Bluegrass Festival and at listening rooms such as Godfrey Daniels, Sellersville Theater and the Ardmore Music Hall.

Wood Flower's self-titled debut album includes ten tracks, seven of which are original material and was released in the fall of 2024. It is available for purchase or streaming on all major platforms.

Grammy-winning singer, songwriter, and virtuosic guitarist Molly Tuttle‘s innovative blend of bluegrass, Americana, pop and rock has made her one of the most dynamic artists in modern roots music. In 2025, she released her boldest statement yet, the critically acclaimed So Long Little Miss Sunshine, nominated for two GRAMMY® Awards—Best Americana Album and Best Americana Performance for the lead single “That’s Gonna Leave A Mark.” The album is a vibrant, deeply personal body of work rooted in self-acceptance and transformation.

A highly decorated artist, Tuttle has been nominated for five GRAMMY Awards (including in the Best New Artist category) and earned back-to-back GRAMMY wins for Best Bluegrass Album with her band Golden Highway—Crooked Tree (2022) and City of Gold (2023)—becoming the first artist in the category’s history to do so. She is also the first woman to receive the IBMA Guitar Player of the Year award, alongside multiple additional IBMA and Americana Music Awards.
